Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients :
2 cloves garlic
1cm piece ginger
1 onion
1 carrot
15ml oil
375 g chopped raw chicken meat
750 g chicken stock
1 can whole peeled tomatoes, chopped
15 ml chili sauce
50 g thin noodles

Procedure :
1.Peel and finely chop the garlic, ginger, onion and carrot.
2.Fry these in the oil until the onion is translucent.
3.Add the chicken, stock, tomatoes and chili sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
4.Add the noodles and simme until the noodles are cooked - about 5 minutes more.
5.Serve hot.
Old Time Chicken Soup

Ingredients :
1 TBSP Butter
2 Celery Stalks, diced
2 Carrots, pared & diced
5 CUPS Cold Chicken Stock
1 1/2 CUPS Noodles
1 1/2 Chicken Breasts, boned, skinned & diced
Pinch of BasilSalt & Pepper, to taste

Procedure :
1.Heat butter in a saucepan. When hot add celery & carrots.
2.Cover and cook for 3 minutes over medium heat.
3.Stir and pour in Chicken stock; add basil, salt & pepper.
4.Bring to a boil. Add noodles and stir.
5.Cook, partly covered 12 minutes overmedium heat, stirring twice.
4.Meanwhile, put chicken in a separate saucepan. Cover with salted water and bring to a boil.
5.Cook 4 minutes. Drain and immediately add to the soup.
6.Test noodles for desired firmness before serving.
7.And but not the least serve hot
Spicy Chicken Soup

Ingredients :
100 grams chicken pieces

1 litre(s) water
1 onion(s) finely chopped
1 green bell pepper(s) finely sliced
green chilli(es) finely chopped
1 teaspoon(s) garlic paste
1 egg(s) white whisked
1 tablespoon(s) vinegar
2 tablespoon(s) cornflour
sugar, salt and pepper to taste

Procedure :
1.Combine all the above ingredients (except for cornflour) in a cooking pot.

2.Cover and cook on a medium level for about 15 minutes or till the chicken pieces are cooked. 3.Separate out the chicken pieces and de-bone them.
4.Put the boneless chicken back into the stock.
5.In a bowl, take some stock just enough to mix the cornflour.
6.Mix well and add to the stock. Cook on high while stirring for about 2 minute(s).
7.Serve hot
